Alone box office collection: Bipasha basu & Karan singh grover's horor flick fails to cross Rs 15 corore make in the opening weekend!

Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover’s first film together Alone may not have impressed the critics big time but it has certainly managed to pull in crowds to the cinema halls. At least that’s what the box office figures suggests. The film released on Friday (January 16) but despite great buzz, it failed to get cash registers jingling. By the end of day 1, Bhushan Patel’s directorial venture collected around Rs 3.70 crore at the domestic box office. And on day 2, the figures were in the range of Rs 4.05-4.50 crore. While Bips and Karan’s chemistry may have worked in the favour of the film, it wasn’t enough to ensure good BO figures it seems.
Sunday collections are yet to be out however early estimates indicate that Alone has minted approximately Rs 12 crore over the first weekend. If that’s the case then wethinks KSG’s Bollywood debut hasn’t performed that bad. But this week two big films are slated to hit the screens – Akshay Kumar’s action flick Baby and Sonam Kapoor starrer Dolly Ki Doli. So its pretty likely that the box office collections of Alone will get affected.
